Ben Barnard
Event Moderator & Presentation Coach
Ben is an experienced presenter, live event moderator and presentation coach. As Regional Director for AVIXA UK & Ireland, he is a familiar face on the international audiovisual industry stage, regularly hosting live shows, chairing panels and leading conversations with experts from across the industry.
He has hosted major international events including ISE Barcelona, the world’s largest professional AV show, and InfoComm in the US, presenting daily talk shows, live podcasts and panel discussions. His subjects have ranged from AI and the future of work to broadcast, live events and professional AV – often taking complex or technical topics and making them clear and engaging for an audience.
Having worked in the audiovisual industry for more than 13 years, Ben understands both sides of presenting: what it takes to communicate your own ideas clearly and confidently, and how to bring the best out of other people. As a moderator, he knows how to ask the right questions, listen, keep a conversation moving and make sure everyone on a panel has the opportunity to contribute.
He brings that experience into his coaching at Boost. His approach is practical, encouraging and tailored to the individual, whether he is helping someone prepare for a presentation, feel more comfortable in front of an audience or develop the skills to chair and moderate a panel effectively.
Ben’s focus is on helping people find an approach that feels natural to them, while giving them the practical tools and confidence to communicate clearly and connect with their audience.
